An Industrial Rhythm
AS IT IS is a continuation of the group’s interests in performative installation, durational sculpture, community building, placemaking and site-specific installation. It combines the languages of documentary, personal narrative, bodily labour and the mark marking process.
Developed over 3 months, the partnership explored the parameters of what a metal workshop can be. Is it as malleable as the material itself? What is the dynamic between the labours of visual arts, craft and fabrication?
