Motu Pulau attempts to connect different experiences with one another across regional spheres. The exhibition prompts us learn about our diverse environments that are shaped by cultural traditions, colonial histories and ancestral knowledge. Housed in a microsite, the exhibition hopes to sustain growing conversations beyond of what a physical exhibition can offer.
How can we speak of the exhibition’s intention of offering new perspectives and ideas, one that is not bounded nor restricted by regional borders? In this concept, we framed the exhibition as a platform that is ever-growing and constantly shifting. Each page of the site is custom designed to have its’ own experience, allowing users to immerse themselves fully in the shoes of the artist.
