Green Market is an event bridging public library audiences with green groups that advocate for better environmental sustainability. As a showcase of community-driven initiatives, it was important that audiences could connect with these groups in a personable manner. However, such environmental campaigns are often easily sidelined, due to clichéd messaging and visuals.

We positioned Green Market as a space that welcomes all to learn and share ideas. The art direction was fun, irreverant and approachable by turning green initiatives into quirky characters. By taking on an adventurous spirit, the campaign foregrounds what can be done (instead of what must not be done) to live sustainably. 

The resulting campaign was largely digital, with visuals crafted to especially come alive and grab attention. Colour and a visual sense of humour provided a bolt of energy across various screens — whether you’re on Instagram on your phone, or even the digital display within a HDB lift.
